Guilt Free

As you can probably see from this post here, I have a lot of fabric. I have been quilting for almost 30 years,that's a lot of fabric!  As I got more into quilting, I started amassing large quantities of fabric. I brought fabric just because I liked the design, the color, needed more of a certain color. Oh any old reason, I needed it for my stash. A couple of years ago, I declared a moratorium on buying fabric, unless I needed it for a specific project. Oh, it was a painful decision, but I was strong. . . sort of. Well this isn't time for confessions, let's move on.
Today I'm here to tell you I've found a way to get around my resolve to not buy any more fabric. Ladies and gentlemen behold . . .

. . . the Quilt Kit!

With the quilt kit you have the right amount of fabric for the quilt . . . and the pattern to go with it. Nothing left when you're done but a few little scraps No more mindlessly acquiring fabric, without a thought in your head as to what it will be used for. No big pieces of fabric causing fabric stash guilt!

Now this isn't going to cause any reduction in the amount of fabric you already own, but it sure does satisfy the urge to populate your studio with more fabric.
